How Fast Everthing can Change

In a matter of seconds
Everything can instantly change
Whether for better or worse
Life's telling you to rearrange

I didn't see this coming
I guess life got in the way
So when things just seem so busy
don't let your friendships go astray

It hit me hard in the face
Leaving me with so many regrets
As I look back to the past
Our friendship moving like perfect silhouettes

It seems to late to explain
And I feel I have destroyed what was
And I wish I could change what's happened
But now it seems like a completely lost cause

So I am sorry that this occured
And I wish I could send the letter
But I fear it may be to late
Can I ever make this better
