With music all around me
i begin to hear the amazing sounds
that can sometimes randomly appear
as the music swells around me
and it begins to point
and seems to be coming near
the tick tock of the clock
the thump thud of my heart
the drumming from their game
it begins to play
and as it plays it's like a key
that unlocks a part of your heart
the music all around me will never be the same
so as i sit and listen to the music
it starts to disappear
it fades away as i snap back to reality
and then for a split second
there is no music near
but, as i listen close
just listening for that special tune
i hear a new song
as the music starts to appear
the music i hear is not the same
no matter what you hear
there's always a different tune
when the music is so near
I'll listen for that beautiful tune
that's going to swell up and hold me
for that muscial tune that's going to change my mood
it sings it's happy song
and a smile begins to appear
as the song plays it's happy tune
i laugh at how blue i had been
as it all seems to fade to something so untrue
so look for that special tune
that will help you in your mood
cause you never know the beauty of it's tune
listen to the little things
and make them into a tune
even if it doesn't match your mood
just listen for that beautiful tune
