Rainy Doorways

by AllHailTheHeartbreaker   Dec 14, 2007

You're soaked to the bone
standing there, all alone
With the rain coming down
all around your tragedy.
But then again, what's it to me?
I was in love when you didn't want to be.

Why change your mind now,
in the wake of your breakdown?
Yeah, I know she broke your heart
and given the chance I bet you'd tear mine apart.
It wouldn't be the first time
and I am so sick of crying.

I don't want what you call love
Take it away, I've had enough
Every time we touch
it hurts too much
And every single kiss
is just something else to miss.

So I'll just shut the door
Because I can't take any more
the pain and lies are just too much
And I can't believe you call this love.
I'm not sorry about your broken heart
as I close to the door to give myself another start.

Wow! powerful and I love your style~!

    And every single kiss
is just something else to miss.

Those were my favorite lines. How true that when you hang on, everything becomes something you'll regret or miss. Nice job!
