Overused And Ignored

Sorry just wont cut it,
I've crossed that final line.
There's nothing more to keep me for,
You lie when you say you're fine.

Not sure why I try,
When I just end up a failure.
I hate being the reason,
For all the pain that you endure.

That's why I've come to the conclusion,
I must leave before it's worse.
You deserve so much better -
I'm plagued with this nasty curse.

Everything I say or do,
Just makes you mad at me.
Hurting you was no intention of mine.
I just had to let you see.

So I'll end this with a word,
That I've used too many times.
I'll end this with a 'sorry',
And a 'please forgive my crime'.
