Wont Look Back

by Aaron   Dec 16, 2007

He looks at me,
he stands so tall,
he towers me,
and makes me fall,

My eyes water,
I ask him why,
I start to mutter,
and then I cry,

He points at me,
then grabs his scythe,
I begin to see,
he controls my life,

I feel it now,
how was I so numb,
I now see how,
as I lay like a bum,

I stand up straight,
and be a man,
I will no longer wait,
and grab his hand,

And as we walk,
right to those flames,
I wont look back,
as I stay on track.

And I Wont Look Back.

This is one of those poems that you read and you can feel the emotion of the poet because the emotion is simple yet strong.
I really like this one. =] It's very unlikely to find a guy who can write good poetry these days.
    Good job.
