I'm 3 times your age and can relate to this poem perfectly! I've known these feelings far too many times during my life...and sadly I'm sure I'll experience them yet again. The pain of a broken and mistreated heart knows no boundaries when it comes to age...but the scars it leaves does seem to make you stronger as you get older...or maybe you just grow numb and don't feel it quite as much.
