Push Me

by Ashlee Nicole   Dec 16, 2007

It's time to move on.
So much time has past.
Sitting here waiting.
I'm left hanging at last.

Hanging on to the bar.
My arms are so tired.
My heart wants to hold on.
My body wants to retire.

I've loved you so long.
I've loved you so much.
My heart melts,
To the thought of your touch.

My Heart loves you.
It's time to move on.
My Arms hate you.
I've become withdrawn.

I can't talk to you anymore.
It's easier to say than do.
After all our time,
All the things we've been through.

My arm is breaking,
I must let go.
How hard this is,
You could not know.

Your arm is fine.
You already let go.
Your heart is fine.
I wish mine was so.

So kick my hand.
Release it from this bar.
Push me away.
Keep me afar.
