Porcelain Doll

by Nada   Dec 16, 2007

MY BEAUTIFUL GIRL WROTE IT, I THOUGHT ID SHARE IT WITH EVERYONE BC I LIKED IT SO MUCH

Porcelain Doll,
Made without Imperfections
Allures who gaze upon her
With her large brown eyes and painted red smile
While hoping one day she'll be looked at and cared for with admiration
Instead of being put on shelves of stores and homes for the mere purpose of decoration
And to be seen on display but never touched
A doll with much value
But her soul concealed
Authentic, and original and yet the modern Barbie steals her scene
Will she ever find someone who will value her for who she is?
All she ever wanted is someone to dry her tears
Always looking for an explanation as to why she's lonesome
Didn't God promise every girl a soul-mate?
Well, Love is everything that she truly desired
But she has nothing to do but hold onto her dreams
And to hear the constant words of:
"Just smile,
Its your best accessory....."
