Hear my Plea

by Luis Sousa   Dec 16, 2007

Hear my plea
Gods of the earth, fire,
Wind and sea;
Fulfill my desire!

(Earth)
Take her to the core of the earth,
Out of the surface full of mud and dirt,
Bring her all the gold and jewels
Forged by Hephaestus tools...

(Fire)
Take her the scorching flame,
A fiery fraction,
Of my tender passion
That burns in shame...

(Wind)
Do as I please,
Bring her the colors of the sky,
And feel the warm breeze
Of my love flying high...

(Water)
Show her the tears of Calypso, the pearls of the ocean,
Let me take her to a journey of pleasure
In the deepest depths of my hearts emotion,
With neither a limit, nor a measure...

Make my wishes come true,
And I shall sell me as a whole,
My mortal body and holy soul,
All forever to you...
