O Sweet baby, O so ever Sweet

by christin   Dec 16, 2007

Gentle Tree cradle me soft in my sleep. While the Wind whispers in my ear a silent lullaby to sleep.

O sweet baby,
O so ever sweet.
Hush now
and I will sing you
My lullaby to sleep.

After you cry
Rest your weary eyes
and only then
shall I let out
a sigh.

O sweet baby,
O so ever sweet
Lay soundless asleep
until your morning
weep.
And my lullaby
I will repeat.
O sweet baby,
O so ever sweet.
