Just The Lonely Talking Again

by Beautiful Chaos   Dec 16, 2007

Soft whispers in my ear,
Filling me with shame,
Inscribing on my soul,
That I'm the one to blame.

Each breath is like a razor,
That cuts away my mind,
Stealing all my reason,
Leaving faith behind.

Lonely's taking over,
Seeping through my veins,
Choking me with everything,
Though nothing, here, remains.

One day I won't hurt,
The whispers will have gone,
Nothing will exist,
Except the lines which I have drawn.

    Lonely's taking over,

Though I probably won't fully understand the piece, I like that stanza a lot. It' so easy to relate to, the feelings of complete emptiness, that is. Good job!
