The ecstacy of agony

by Shalkan   Dec 17, 2007

I watch them as they speak
neither knowing what to say
the words they both do seek
were lost along the way
if i possessed a voice
i would let them know
they haven't got a choice
the adherence will let go
If only he could realize
that the fire in her eyes
if only he could recognize
its the reason for her cries
If only she could hear
the straining of his voice
if only she could hear
the silence shielding noise
if i could end this game
i would kill their silent anguish
if i could call their names
..yet here i know i'll languish
uncertainty scorches them alive
as their love loses its sad war
their hearts both slowly die
as the rain begins to pour
there reign has long been over
all thats left here is my stagnancy
they left a lesson to be learned
through the ecstasy of agony.
