You drag me across the playground, A dozen pairs of eyes are boring into me. Smiling eyes. Laughing eyes. You're laughing too, And the crowd is cheering you on. You pin me up against the wall. "Hit him harder," I hear them chanting. I feel your fist, Hard, cold, against my cheek. Fall to the floor. Pain sears through my head as it hits the concrete. I don't get back up, There's no point. I'd only be kicked down again, So I lie there, still, and wait until it's over, hoping it's soon. I don't cry. I don't beg you to stop. That's what you want, isn't it? To watch me squeal, to watch me squirm. I catch a glimpse of a mobile phone, And the camera lens is following me. This'd be on Internet tomorrow, And you'd be proud. It seemed like an eternity, Until you let me go. Leave me on the ground, A trickle of blood dripping down my cheek. Slowly, I force my eyes open, Watching you walk away. Staring at your face, waiting, All I wanted to see was some remorse, some guilt. But your face is as blank as mine.
