Stupid mistakes

by Still Slightly Broken   Dec 17, 2007

Why do i do this
why cant i just be a good friend
i just keep falling for you traps
and let out precious secrets
that were never meant to be told
you promised that you wouldnt tell
you promised that you wouldnt care
so i told you what they said
i told you what they thought of you
everything and everyone
immediately you started sulking
but lied and said you were feeling sick
i knew the truth my friend
i could tell by looking in your eyes
they were filled with hatred not illness
i should of known what you would do
i should of listened to her warning
but i was stupid
and now i have gained a terrible friend
and lost a best friend.

im sorry brittney

Awww, friends are so important in these years. Especially in high school, it's virtually impossible to go through it without good friends to lean on. I can really feel your pain here. Your regrets and your mistakes. But I do think that that if you talked to your friend she will eventually understand.
As the person above me said it's hard to say I'm sorry, because sometimes i'm sorry does not change anything. What is done is done.
I loved this poem. It's very sad and deep but yours emotions are expressed so well.

    Great job! =]
