My Class

by MuddinGirl   Dec 18, 2007

Little ones, oh so dear
When they cry, I hold them near.

My class is very special to me
Because I love kids as you can see.

My one year olds are a great bunch
At playtime, nap, even at lunch.

They're learning to talk, walk and sing
Sometimes their screams make my ears ring.

Their little laughs and kisses too
Make my very proud to hear "la loo"

With bright eyes and eager to see
Make doing what I do very easy.

God made them and he made me
A teacher is what I'm intended to be.

So while I can, I'll do my part
To give these kids a piece of my heart.

A lovely refeshing write, a tribute to toddlers!!

My boy is 7 years old, but I remember his early days if they were yesterday. I remember the anguish leaving him at his playgroup! The staff there were fantastic and of course do a wonderful job, helping to shape our babies, preparing them for the big wide world!

    Well done!
