What Is The Point?

My minds eyes are diming slowly
I can no longer see the point
In this thing many people call a life

Is there even a point
In going through these days
When i already know
That in the end i'm just going to die

I wonder alot if maybe life would be better
If it was like a book
Where you already had your future writen down
And you knew how it would turn out

Tonight when i close my eyes
I'll dream of my own little world
Where i know what my point in life is about
And maybe this time hopfully i wont wake up
