Anger Is The Brand New Thing

Countless people are slowly dying
From wars that shouldn't be fought
Fighting for country and freedom
Yet their soul's have been bought

People getting mugged every day
Just so addicts can get a hit
It's true they have a problem
Yet this they can not admit

Brothers murdering sisters
Friends turning upon friends
So many innocent life's taken
Coming to such an abrupt end

Abuse victims left in despair
Pain so intense that it burns
No one for them to talk to
There is nowhere left to turn

Victims of cruel bullying
Hating everything they are
What happened to their dreams
When they were gonna be a star?

People getting away with crimes
The law has become total disarray
Seems that it urgently needs updating
Or more life's will be lost this way

Do these harsh words shock you?
Didn't think society was so bad?
And then you all wonder why
Society always makes me sad

I'm sure you'll forget my words
Put them to the back of your mind
After all it isn't your problem
That the world is so unkind

So you continue what you're doing
Staying oblivious to everything
