Alone again this Christmas,
another year gone by
No one's hand to hold this time,
no more joy to sing.
What happened Christmas?
Why did you go away?
Why did you take the laughter I seldom get to feel.
Where are you Christmas?
Can't you hear me scream for you to stay?
Don't go away.
Don't leave me here to cry in the dark.
My only life long wish is for you to hold me close,
and love me so, thats all I really need.
Instead theirs only tears
and all these haunting fears.
Because you see he never really cared.
He tore my heart to shreds and left without a trace.
Another lonely Christmas this will be.
Its not supposed to be this way,
Christmas should be a happy time of year.
The birth of the Saviour we all should love and adore.
Oh Jesus please don't be angry if a tear slips out this Holiday, its just because I was foolish and let him break my heart, not because I don't love you.
