We have never been so close
But yet there is this distance
An unspoken silence and longing
I have you, but I dont
I feel you, but you fail to see me
Like a cool winds gust you move me
I am all to familiar with this situation
It was my place years ago
Here I stand with the experience of new winds
Not better but different
I could see them
Feel them
And knew they were around
Body and mind and soul
Always letting me know
But fell again for the familiar gusts of yesterday
Now I am alone
The winds return
But I still mourn
