A Reason So Vague

by Rebecca   Dec 19, 2007

Happy and successful she seemed to me,
But something troubling would not let her be.

So nice and caring with a marriage ahead,
But something kept her from joy instead.

An act so unpredictable and exceedingly vile,
Maybe from emotions bottled deep inside for miles.

So unexpectedly leaving us without a good-bye,
Leaving us to drown in the question of "Why?"

So young and beautiful, there must be a reason,
To cause pain and sorrow to family this season.

Death is evil to leave us here torn and mangled,
But God decided it was time to take back His Angel.

Her life was valuable and worth so much more,
With no explanation of what she 'gave up' for.

She was a daughter, a sister and a good friend,
Now time is needed for our broken hearts to mend.

Now we can feel her spirit through the sweet air,
Watching over us with warm love and gentle care.

In loving memory of Kendra K. Reinhardt
