Timeless

***A simple dedication to my first true love.***

And my lips wither like roses in winter,
the fragrance of a similar flower gracefully caressing the back of my eyelids,
I feel blood trickle across my cheeks and form a heart upon my chest;
beating, rapidly,
soft her hands are and mend the night-sky coloured wounds,
eternally poetry from my tongue resides within (her).

Oh, lord, you've given me this name ...

that she whispers, a voice of ardent breeze,
as the pastels of skin paint the crippled pages of romance,
there the fire-flies scatter dust into the wind,
... cascading,
my eyes, and so drink my tears...

My hands can not keep from the tides,
an ocean lit by a red, fervent moon
eyes that outshine the brilliance of night.

I stare into the stars of serenity,
but pale,
the sky in which my fingers caress ever gently,
Her lips make my breath slip from this broken galaxy,
and ...
let these memories forever be tattooed upon my palms.
