Modern maiden

by jamie f   Dec 20, 2007

Beneath those pools of vibrant blue
The cogs begin to turn
"Another one has let me down,
When will I ever learn?"

Fear not, our modern maiden
For one day you shall see,
I'm more than smoke and mirrors to you
At least, I hope to be

Smooth seamless patchwork quilt of life
Oh fate and destiny,
Wise you are so tell me please
Is she the one I need?
