I hate that we're just friends

I never thought having a friend could hurt so much,
friends are there when you need someone,
when u wanna smile for no reason,
when u cry n they're there to wipe your tears,

i like those friends,
i think everyone needs those friends,

but the type of friend you're giving me,
is one that u can have back,
i don't wanna say to everyone,
oh hes just my friend,i wanna say,
oh hes mine
i don't wanna say,
oh i love him in no other way than just a friend,
becuase i know i love you way more and passed that

when ppl ask and u say we're just friends,
inside of me is screaming out to u,
can we just pretend to be more?
