NEW YEAR

The days this year have gone so fast,
But i guess its not so bad..
To think another year has passed,
It makes me a little sad,
All the confusion,
And other feelings i've felt,
I have overcome and with,
Them i have delt,
So many tears i have cried,
So many smiles i've shone,
I guess i could've done better...
But what has been done..is done,
I've attempted suicide,
The scars are there to show...
And with failure comes the pride..
That after all...it wasnt time to go,
I've felt trapped..
Lost in the dark,
But if lightning struck me dead right now..
I'd have know i'd made my mark,
Memories kill the soul..
Memories seem to fullfil,
Memories last forever..
And im sure that mine will.....
Its great to know ive made it through,
Just another year...
But when i think about it..
Im lucky to even be here..
