Used. [She Isn't Even There.]

by sexyCheckers   Dec 21, 2007

Another night out,
So she drinks down as much as she can,
She knows by the early morning
She'll be in bed with a different man.

Feeling defeated, used and dirty,
She finds her clothes and walks our the door,
Passes a mirror, But looks the other way,
She doesn't like what she sees anymore.

Walking home, Because no one really cares,
If she was found the next day, Stripped and bare,
They wouldn't even notice, To her family,
She isn't even there.

Walks in the gate, And passes the front door,
The porch light isn't on, Just like all the other times before.

They've forgotten about her,
They don't care if she comes home,
So she sleeps outside near a tree,
Dreaming to keep her feeling not so alone.

She wants to cry herself to sleep,
But she doesn't dare,
Because these days she cannot cry,
Because crying is for girls with families that care.

Crying is a form of reaching out for help,
But no one is willing to help her,
To everyone she knows, She doesn't matter.
