Mask of Gold

by B.Rabbit   Dec 21, 2007

Smiling in front of all the audience
Making silly moves
Laughter filling the air

As children fear and love him

They never saw
The face hidden behind
That mask on his hidden face

I'm just one
Of the many people
Who never cared at all
Of that little fact

That your dieing as I laugh

Your real face is soaked wet
And your mask keeps them all hidden behind it

I'm sorry for all the time
I never noticed it at all

How you laughed all along
But cry ed as you hide

All you're built up emotions
You even called out to me once

Crying for help
Crying for a place
Crying for love

I should have noticed it then
But now it's too late

You're already broken
And I can't fix you
Even with this smile

Now I wear the mask
The Golden Mask you wore

Now I'll take your place
And I'll cry all the way trough
While laughing by the mask...
