Wonderful poem. I really enjoyed it and could totally relate to it.. it made me think about that time in my life that i just want to erase.

I've been reading lots of poetry today and each new one I read takes me back to my younger years...my teens. Wow...I have no idea if this is real or not but just let me say you mustnt let those silly boys do that to you. I can honestly say the biggest mistake of my life is allowing a man to control me...not in a physical manner...but he knew I loved him so much that I would give up anything and everything for him. He changed me...he changed friendships and I hate to think of it now. I think a lot of young girls experience this...I did until I was 21--- then I realized that there are probably hundreds of beautiful things and people I missed out on becuase of him. I love the way you described your feelings on the situation. I know that's it real whether you experienced it or not you know the feeling. Nicely done!!! Sorry, I didn't mean to ramble I'm just a bit shaken up with all this fantastic stuff I've been reading....lol
