Past

by Eponine   Dec 22, 2007

Hidden behind the concrete façade,
Tears beating on the inside,
Like the downpour beyond the delicate glassâ?¦
Your happy melody of life â??
Faded like the prehistoric rocks, and cliffs,
Something that tears you into pieces,
Keeps within the boundaries
Of your walls.

Burning, burning,
You feel the past arise,
Burning arising,
You are your own sacrifice.

Donâ??t let yourself be taken over by your past.

You know I sense your truth,
I am not welcome, but I still seeâ?¦
I feel you anger strong within,
Empowering your terminal diseases:
You know it will NEVER bleachâ?¦
Engraved in your thoughts, EVERY word.
That is spoken, I can tell by your blatant expression
You eyes,
Their beauty NEVER lies,
Fear and doubt stay firm.

Knowing, that, that one million year ago day. BEATS.
Like the present, in your soul.

Burning, burning,
You feel the past arise,
Burning exploding,
Within your masterpiece of lies.

I shall not mention this misfortune,
Hush my love, do not fabricate this on.
Stay with me until itâ??s overâ?¦
But darling, it never will beâ?¦
