The Wise

by Insanity   Dec 22, 2007

To you who call yourself wise
I give you simply this
you are no more then a disease
a simple cancerous cyst

You think yourself above the rest
some god on his golden throne
however I have come to tell you this
only death awaits the glory prone

For no man is greater then great
or stronger then the strong
all you are is man itself
a simple low born son

You are not a king
a lord above the earth
no matter how much money
or glory given at birth

your name does not make you god
Bill Gates, Oprah, or any name in mind
for all you are is flesh and blood
and wont last the wear of time

So many have called themselves
the wise and the great
yet few do I hear
humble themselves to earth

Again I say this simply to you who clam the wise
all you are simple children in big rich disguise
the truly wise are the ones who sit on frozen ground
and understand to give of them selves is salvations true demand....
