Here At The Cemetary Tonight

by Elliott Lica   Dec 23, 2007

There are tombstones in shades of gray and white,
There are tombstones here big and small,
There are tombstones here heavy and light,
There are tombstones here short and tall,
There are tombstones here at the cemetary tonight...

There are roses here in shades of red and blue,
There are ghosts here that call to you, there are owls here that cry "who",
There are torches here for light, which only come on at night,
There is a moon here high in the sky, there is green grass that is cut low,
There are roses in shades of red and blue, torches for light, and a moon up high, here at the cemetary tonight...

There are sleepers here dreaming silently,
There are dreamers here who live nightly,
There are nights here that have no dawn,
there are bodies here old and fawn,
there are sleepers and dreamers and nights and bodies here at the cemetary tonight...

There is peace here at the cemetary tonight...
