2007

We celebrate a new year. Take a toast out of dodgy champagne.
Everyone ignored me. Who cares about me?
That was what the start of 2007 felt like.
But what a year. My life has turned around and suddenly I see
That I was put here for a purpose.

January continues much the way it started.
Someone loved me though, or so I thought at that time.
After the panto, it was like I was a hero
So maybe my life was turning around and starting to rhyme
1 month gone. 11 more to go.

February went well until near the end
Life came crashing down after one phone call.
March started well, a fashion show
And a new reason to go to the mall
Oh yes, life was starting to become good.

April was my birthday time and it was good
No party, but a fun family time spent at home. So fine.
Last one of them I'll get.
May went on and I met the girl of my dreams. Hopefully mine.
And May ended in confusion and worry.

June started, the worst month of the year
It was up and down from the start until a massive low
Which led to a massive high.
July was amazing. She didn't say no
And my life was on track once again

August spent most in Italy, 2 weeks without her
But 2 weeks of sun and fun.
September and a new school year. It felt ok at first
No real downs and maybe I had won
This battle that had been played through this year

October and November passed without incident
The year had gone so quick.
And now it December and the year was nearly over
I felt sad, and my sister was feeling sick.
December is happy, a time to rejoice

Led right until its last week.
Happiness and accomplishment I felt
And so it's nearly over. What's your year been like?
Mine was happy and never did melt
Into oblivion so I call it the best year of my life.
