Say Goodbye

Say goodbye my sweet heart just one last time as they take you down I lay a rose upon the wooden box As i tear joins it the people start to walk away I cant find any words to say I fear to say goodbye To lose the last peace of you that lays in those words long to be said the rain slowly falls upon a grave soon to be long last you where better then this you brought so much to life and it took so little to take you away soon enough no one will remember your name no one that is but me I lay my heart to rest beside you You said no more pain for you in the last words you wrote but what about the pain for me the pain for everyone around you Honestly how could you be so cold I loved you to death now no words have ever been more true I long to see your eyes again they where so bright blue and now they lay closed inside that box never to be seen again I stand slowly to dry my eyes for the last time I find the words deep in the back of my throat to say good bye.
