The Sun

Once there was the sun
that was as warm and wonderful
as the burning in my heart...

but winter came
freezing everything.
And I mourned
as a heart empty and cold.
but even in endless december
I remember...the sun.

as so this ends
as softly as it begun
once there was the sun...

    Speaks of a hope you have when things go really bad, remembering your live once was better, and it will be again if you keep it up. Great work, it says so many if you look behind the words. Just as poetry was meant to be, to say the world while telling nothing
