She smiled...

by EmotionallyDisturbed   Dec 24, 2007

She smiled as the sweet stench of blood filled the air. She let out a sigh of pleasure as the warm sticky red blood flowed across her arm. Looking down, she saw the cut in that first second before the blood rushed up, when it was just an empty gaping white hole. That was what her heart felt like. A gaping hole. Then the river of blood raced up filling the white tunnel that was the slit in her arm. But the image of that gaping hole still burned in her brain. Desperate to make it vanish, she attacked her arm with the razor again. She was desperate to make it all vanish, the image, the mess, the problems, the unshakable feeling that something was holding her here despite her very obvious efforts to leave. Groaning with a mixture of pain and pleasure she lowered the razor and lifted her -now crimson- arm and breathed in the scent of metallic pain. Blood had it's own smell. Sweet and coppery. Dark and Rich and ever so inviting. It was so addicting but tempting. Just like it's smell it's taste was unique as well. It had a way of making you want to keep drinking in the flavor forever and ever until all of it is drained. It was so sweet and yet so bitter. She poked out her tongue and tenderly ran her tongue up her arm letting the sweet taste explode like fireworks in her mouth. It was a flavor bomb. Opening her eyes she looked down at the swollen mass of cuts now covering her arm and the blood welling up again to fill it and smiled to herself.
