I seen him down the road, At a park close by. This simple kind of man, Tears streaming from his eyes. I went over to offer help, And sat down beside him. This simple kind of man, Fair hair with darker skin. He told me of this girl, He said things got so rough. This simple kind of man, He had lost his one true love. Tears streaming down his face, He said it was a mistake. This simple kind of man, Found her love was fake. He talked for hours on end, Him telling me his story. This simple kind of man, His name being that of Cory. He is 22 years old, Thought he'd found a soul mate. This simple kind of man, He thought that it was fate. Its been three years since then, And all i see are his smiles. This simple kind of man, Is now mine and our love goes for miles
