Remember when you spoke to me
and told me of your day
how everyone was hurting you
and you didn't want to stay

Remember how you cried to me
and said that no one cared
that death would be your only choice
because no one was there

In those times i took your heart
and held it in my hand
spoke to it the words of life
pulled you from your knees to stand

Held you in my loving arms
and drew you to myself
told you that i would be there
when there was no one else

Daughter my love remains
i cannot let you go
for you are one with me forever
there's so much i want to show

So come and sit within my presence
and tell me of your heart
speak to me with all you have
for thats when i set you apart

Remeber when you spoke to me
how i love to hear your voice
my gaze has never left you
your prayers are the sweetest noise
