Anguish of the Eons

by Carl   Dec 25, 2007

Even though bitter words
Fall silent on weary ears
Resting on peace so sure
From all the withering years

Rest, sleep 'till night fades
Awaken only at the sound
Of the dire heart

As light slowly falls away
Here in lands of cold
We shall come and stay
And face the fears untold

Rest, sleep 'till night fades
Seek not solace here
Soon we shall depart

Follow the darkened star
It's rays veiled by night
It will lead you far
Far beyond our sight

Rest, sleep 'till night fades
