Dear Miss Wilted,
It's hard to watch a good friend be hurt by something, by anything. You want to stop it, you want to help. The fact that sometimes all you can do is sit back and watch is one of the truest tortures in the world. I needed to read this poem tonight, because i've been enduring this exact brand of torture, and somehow having your words out in the world so that you and I, and whoever else reads them can know, even in part, what this feels like. Well, it makes that pain a little less bearable. And for that, I am in your debt.
