Our Place

I know a place
most people don't know
when my life troubles me
it's where i can always go
it's a place unexpected
but it's the best one i've found
where my worries are shed
and there is nothing around

i know a place
that belongs to only two
and we share this place
where love runs through
it's a place that i visit
it's warm and it's strong
and i know it's the place
where i truly belong

i know a place
i bet you didn't guess
it's in the arms
of someone i know best
and if you think i'm crazy
i guess i'd have to agree
but our place belongs
to him...and me

    Oh my I just loved this! The warmth you described and the imagery you used was just beautiful. The flow was flawless and your words took me to another place. The whole mood of the poem was peaceful and put me into a better mood, truly made me smile. I could relate to the notion of being safe in his arms ... loved it.
