Dear Mom,

I'm writing this now.
To tell you whats going on
And to tell you my story.
Somehow now I just feel so strong.

Its been a while.
Since I've talked to you
And its been even longer
Since I've seen you, too.

Don't come up with excuses
I know you purposely avoid me
your mad that I left you
Though I understand, don't you see?

I know that your mad I left.
Without even a simple goodbye
Your mad I don't come visit
Or that I don't even call to say hi.

But I could change that you see
All I need is to know its okay.
That you want me to come home.
That you want me to stay.

If you want me to come home
Then just let me know.
But if you don't want me home.
Then just tell me so.
