When I hear the phone ring
I hope to hear your voice even if its for a moment
We met in an unexpected way
that may lead to an unexpected day
I don't know why but when I hear that song
I get anxious inside
Like something exciting is about to happen
Realizing its only a call
I anticipate who is the one on the other end
I wonder and hope its the voice I have been waiting to hear all day
The voice that brings comfort yet excitement out from deep within me
Its the voice of someone who means something to me
All though we have not yet met face to face
I hope his arms around me will feel as warm as his voice is to my soul
He is the one who makes my day better by hearing his voice
Even if its for a moment
