Sleep

by Alison Ellis   May 13, 2004

I'm lying in bed,
Counting sheep,
Trying very hard,
Just to get to sleep.

Trying to close my eyes,
Make them shut tight,
Because Mommy said,
Go to bed Hunny, Good-night.

I'll never go to sleep,
Never go to bed,
Never ever dream,
Ly down to rest my head.

I'm trying very hard,
I really am,
I can't wait to sleep,
Dream of the perfect man.

I'm trying ver hard now,
Just to get some sleep,
I'm already at,
120 shepp.

My Mommy told me,
To go to bed,
Don't want to wake up,
As a sleepy head!

Remember me, Teehee.

Right yeah, suuuuuuuuuuure True Nigga. Thank you all for commenting on my work. Many of you didn't like it but it's not something I wanted any of you to like. The poems are for me, I just wanted to see what everyone else thought of them. Thank you all again for just commenting. Remember me, Teehee.
