I drink my thoughts away
To find you at the bottom of an empty hope
To easily forget
Only to find the thoughts that trouble me
From the wish to close my eyes
And escape to the peaceful nothingness of my sleep
To dream in my sleep is foolish for me
For I live mine while I'm awake
To pray to escape from my life I will not
For in my sleep my soul
I put to sleep
And as my eyes grow heavy
Not have I dreamed of you
As I lived my life for I have escape them now
And can only hope to dream of you tomorrow
