Deaths Marching Band

by Suicidal Love   Dec 28, 2007

I take a knife
To my wrist
Slice it through
You get my gist

Blood drips down
Causing pain
But self control
I stand to gain

Suicide note
On the wall
A bloody warning
To you all

No more pain
Could I take
My smiling face
It was a fake

Would you care
If I died?
You said you would
I said you lied

Blood on wrists
Gun in hand
My CD plays
Deaths marching band

I drop the knife
Fall to the floor
I am gone
My life, no more

Wow!!! this is byfar one of my favorite poems i have ever read. I truly felt this one. I, myself, suffored from self-harm for 4 years...and i just loved how you used that life is nothing but a marching band. Its so true. Great job. true talent.
