Hurt Me?

They say don't take it personally.
Pretending so convincingly.
I'm tired of being the enemy.
This isn't how it's supposed to be.
Hearts broken greedily.
Did you ever think that this hurt me?

I get built up just to fall.
All strength gone,too weak to crawl.
Old wounds scratched back raw.
Forgive me I have flaws.
It was pointless to climb an infinitive wall.
I guess this hurt me after all.

Needless tears,vainly cried.
Swollen eyes,tear-ducts dried.
Fake smiles,painted pride.
Emotions comfortably reside.
Hope quickly denied.
