Ode to Soda

Praise soda, the synthetically colored nectar
Pumped with sugar and empty calories
No need for dinner when you have a few cans
Even comes in diet version, zero calories
Not to mention with extra caffeine
The child's coffee and the teenager's alcohol
All in its strong bubbly goodness
You need to have tolerance to it, or you will wince like I do
But who cares about that because soda is great
Praise soda the all natural artificial drink nature intended
