Meaning

by NotCryingForHelp   Dec 29, 2007

Sometimes I feel dead inside
hollow like an old tree
withering like a rose without sun.

I look at myself
I look hollow
like a manikin in a store window
just there to see
no real meaning or goal.

So maybe thats the meaning of life,
to cherish the few moments
that your fully alive.

Or maybe to experience misery and glory,
or maybe for some other incredulously obvious reason.

But most likely,
just to come up for our own reason
for why you are here.
