I truly enjoyed this summer and seeing your smile,
with so much time spent together in the night.
I wish now I could be with you for a while,
after a walk, sitting outside in the light.
Whether we were watching a movie or walking around,
I was always happy when I was with you.
Over the course of the summer my heart began to pound.
I slowly began to fall for you.
I hid my feelings for a while and then let you know,
I said it online while hiding my cowardly face.
I did not really want to let you go,
for you to leave in my heart that place.
