The middle of nothing

by MorbidCupcake   Dec 29, 2007

Well, what a lovely turn of events
Two days later, I'm singing 'here we go again'
You blushed, you smiled, and you said you would stay
I knew all along, you had come to break me

And stupid me
I still let you in
And stupid me
I must begin again
Picking up major arteries
That you spit back out at me
Stacking the bricks higher up
Because I've had enough

Close was all there was
If close to you meant miles away
I knew my dreams would get crushed
But I dreamt them just the same

In the middle of nowhere
In the middle of nothing
It was nothing
