The Bluebird

by Kyrodo   Dec 29, 2007

The Bluebird on severed wings
Down paths through dark clouded sky
Eternal darkness of thought sings
That welcoming light did die
Falling arrows let not once more

Take in all silence of heart
Among all storms it will not scream
Threatening waves listen not
Transcend all realitys seem
Keep all that is beaten within
In imminence, every will must keep on

Tiny light of reds still brewing
Of what sees not benevolent storm
Past life the Bluebird sights going
Of all means once of safety and warm

Hasty like drumbeat races
Heads oblivion below
Of what reveals slowly closes
Last of thought desires know
If state present forever be

What use are these wings of mine
From scattering loosed feathers air?
Of what clocked hour ticks time
When find resolve acceptance fair?
Step to must what real reveals
Then affableness towards any past light

Ever be not placed forgiveness
In naught streams of soul raises its length
This blood spilling wound still weakness
If by intend the Bluebird seeks strength?

By soul, twilight is fading
Dusks swift presence approaching
Crashes the Bluebird in an unlit night
By cold movements sealed, will lacked of fight
Shattering body by reckless waters
Listen all sounds adhere to whispers
All finding senses slip away

To the Bluebird, all binding world balance sleeps
Demons envisioned, pleasant no longer dreams
Has it too far gone, how much an hour takes?
Suffer never more, rethink what worthy lives
From deceiving light turn, snatch back all mastery

Chosen have I to remain an entity
In of itself
So that forever remoted to higher ground
I may stay arrow lengths wake
And plummet nevermore
Into the Sea of Sorrows
Though our paths may intertwine
To flightless dirt eternally rooted I shall be
Treading not hand in hand, but side by side
Roads will be walked
But caught in a cold wind
In one place I will not stay

Once brilliant the Bluebird forsaken
Morning due and free sky taken
Been feather of sails have broken
Piercing of blood spilt shall never feel again
